Privacy Policy - Título de Eleitor
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-08-14
This Privacy Policy describes how Título de Eleitor ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application.
Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how the app Título de Eleitor ("the App", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects information when you use it. The App is an informational utility that provides guidance, guides and reference content about the Brazilian voter registration document (título de eleitor) and elections. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by the Justiça Eleitoral, the TSE or any government body.
By using the App you agree to the practices described in this policy. Last updated: August 14, 2026.
Information We Collect
We do not ask you to create an account and we do not request your name, address, CPF or voter registration number in order to use the App. The information involved falls into the categories below.
Information you provide voluntarily
- Content you type into the App's tools or forms, which is processed on your device to display results.
- The content of messages you choose to send us by e-mail (via the in-app mail composer) or through store reviews, including your e-mail address and anything you write.
Information collected automatically
- Device and technical data: device model, manufacturer, operating system and version, screen and language/region settings, app version and build, and time zone.
- Usage and interaction data: screens viewed, features used, buttons tapped, session start and duration, and similar in-app events.
- Diagnostic data: crash reports, error logs, stack traces and performance information.
- Network information: connection type and approximate coarse location derived from your IP address (country/region level). We do not collect precise GPS location.
- Identifiers: an advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID / Apple IDFA, only where permitted), app instance identifiers, push notification tokens and anonymous installation identifiers.
- Purchase data: the status of any in-app purchase or subscription (for example, whether an ad-free or premium entitlement is active). We never receive or store your credit card or payment details — payments are processed entirely by Apple or Google.
Information stored only on your device
- Preferences and settings, favorites, recently viewed items and similar local data, stored using local device storage. This data stays on your device and is removed when you uninstall the App.
How We Use Information
We use the information described above for the following purposes:
- To provide, operate and display the App's content and features.
- To remember your preferences and give you a consistent experience.
- To detect, diagnose and fix crashes, bugs and performance problems.
- To understand which features are used and how, so we can improve the App.
- To deliver and measure advertising, including frequency capping and fraud prevention.
- To deliver over-the-air updates and remotely configure features and content.
- To send push notifications about content updates and important information, if you have allowed notifications.
- To manage in-app purchases and validate subscription or ad-free entitlements.
- To respond to your support requests and feedback.
- To comply with legal obligations and to enforce our terms.
We do not sell your personal information.
Legal Bases for Processing
Where the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law 13.709/2018) or the European GDPR applies, we process data on the following bases:
- Consent — for personalized advertising, tracking identifiers (App Tracking Transparency on iOS) and push notifications.
- Legitimate interest — for security, fraud prevention, crash diagnostics and aggregate analytics used to improve the App.
- Contract performance — to provide the features you request, including purchases and entitlements.
- Legal obligation — when we must retain or disclose data by law.
Advertising
The App is supported by advertising delivered through Google AdMob. Ad formats used may include banner ads, interstitial (full-screen) ads, app open ads and rewarded ads.
- Ads may be personalized (based on an advertising identifier and inferred interests) or non-personalized (based only on general context and coarse location), depending on your consent and device settings.
- On iOS, we ask for your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before any tracking identifier is used for personalized advertising. If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will be non-personalized.
- On Android, you can reset your advertising ID or opt out of ad personalization in Settings → Google → Ads.
- In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, a consent message is shown so you can accept or refuse personalized advertising and manage vendor preferences.
- Where an ad-free or premium purchase is available, buying it removes ads from the App.
We also use Meta (Facebook) SDK and TikTok Ads event tools to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns (for example, to know that an install came from a given campaign). These tools may receive device identifiers and app event data.
Permissions the App Uses
The App requests only the minimum permissions needed to work:
- Internet / network access — required to load content, updates, ads and remote configuration.
- Advertising ID (Android) / App Tracking Transparency (iOS) — used only for advertising and measurement, and only with your consent on iOS.
- Notifications — optional; used to alert you about content updates and relevant deadlines. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
- Storage / file access — used only when you choose to save, print or share a document generated by the App.
The App does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, calendar, photo library, health data or precise GPS location.
Third-Party Services
We rely on the following third-party providers, each governed by its own privacy policy:
- Google AdMob — advertising delivery and measurement.
- Firebase Analytics — usage analytics.
- Firebase Crashlytics — crash and error reporting.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging — push notifications.
- Firebase Remote Config — remote feature and content configuration.
- Firebase Authentication — anonymous or optional sign-in used to identify an app installation.
- Cloud Firestore — hosting of app content and configuration data.
- Google Play Services — core platform services on Android.
- RevenueCat — management and validation of in-app purchases and subscriptions.
- Expo — app framework, insights and update delivery.
- Microsoft Clarity — anonymized in-app behavior analytics (screen interactions and heatmaps) used to improve usability.
- Meta (Facebook) SDK — marketing attribution and campaign measurement.
- TikTok Ads — marketing attribution and campaign measurement.
- Cloudflare — hosting and delivery of over-the-air app updates.
- Apple — App Store, StoreKit purchases and app review requests.
- Google Play Billing — purchases and app review requests on Android.
These providers may process data on servers located outside your country, including in the United States. Transfers are made under contractual safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
Data Sharing and Disclosure
We share information only:
- With the service providers listed above, strictly so they can perform their function for us.
- When required by law, court order or a valid request from a public authority.
- To investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents or violations of our terms.
- In connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case we will notify users of any change in control of their data.
We never sell your personal data and we do not share it with advertisers for their own independent use beyond what is described in the Advertising section.
Data Retention
We keep data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy:
- Analytics and advertising event data: generally retained for up to 14 months by the respective providers.
- Crash reports: typically retained for up to 90 days.
- Support e-mails: retained while needed to resolve your request and to keep a record of the conversation.
- Local preferences: kept on your device until you clear the App's data or uninstall it.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS/TLS), reliance on established providers such as Google Firebase, restricted access to any collected data, and collecting the minimum amount of information necessary.
No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a data breach occurs that presents risk to users, we will notify affected users and the competent authorities as required by applicable law.
Children's Privacy
The App is a civic-information utility intended for a general audience of voting-age users and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age (or under the minimum age required by local law, such as 13 under the Brazilian LGPD framework for children's data with parental consent).
If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child without verifiable parental consent, we will delete that information promptly. Parents or guardians who believe their child has provided us information may contact us at developer@trendingappslab.com so we can remove it.
Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Confirm whether we process data about you and request access to it.
- Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data.
- Request anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary or excessive data.
- Request portability of your data to another provider.
- Withdraw consent at any time, including for advertising personalization and notifications.
- Object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority (in Brazil, the ANPD).
You can also control data directly on your device by disabling notifications, resetting or limiting your advertising identifier, revoking tracking permission in iOS settings, or clearing the App's data.
To exercise any of these rights, write to developer@trendingappslab.com. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.
Account Deletion and Data Deletion
The App does not require you to create a user account. Any identifier associated with your installation is anonymous.
To delete your data:
- Delete local data — uninstall the App, or clear its data in your device settings (Android: Settings → Apps → Título de Eleitor → Storage → Clear data). This erases all preferences and content stored on your device.
- Delete data held by us or our providers — send a deletion request to developer@trendingappslab.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request". We will process it and confirm within 30 days.
- Purchases — subscription and purchase records are held by Apple and Google; manage or cancel them in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
Some data may be retained in backups or where retention is required by law, and will be deleted once that period expires.
Disclaimer About Electoral Information
The App provides informational and educational content only. It is an independent product and is not an official channel of the Justiça Eleitoral, the TSE or any government agency. We do not access, verify or transmit your voter registration data to any electoral authority. For official procedures and your official electoral status, always consult the official channels of the Justiça Eleitoral.
International Data Transfers
Because we use global service providers, your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States and the European Union. These countries may have different data protection rules. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses and equivalent contractual commitments from our providers.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App, in the services we use, or in applicable law. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy and, for significant changes, provide a more prominent notice inside the App or through the app stores.
We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continuing to use the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
